This web site is part of an assignment for a class I am taking at Western Michigan University in the summer of 2011, English 4790 with Dr. Allen Webb. The Autoethnography is one of our main assignments. Our job is to write a narrative of how we learned to write from as far back as we can remember, from our elementary and high school years, to higher and other educations, and up to the present. This exercise is fundamental to understanding our own learning process in preparation for teaching writing at the secondary education level, and beyond.
I was resistant, at first, to using internet technology as the platform on which I would embed this narrative writing assignment. But as I thought about it, and the creative possibilities of using Weebly to design a website presentation format, I started to have fun with it, and have also decided to use this website to share and launch other creative projects and research that I have been working on.
